What is ESOTAI?

ESOTAI is the ultimate online community for making connections. Our unique matching system allows you to connect to businesses, markets, professionals and persons that share your passions.


What makes you different from other match-making websites or apps?

ESOTAI matches individuals and businesses and professionals but it does not use dating relationship algorithms or social media marketing algorithms. ESOTAI uses a composite of personal data and personality types, personal goals and preferences to calculate matches. Matches are not selected based on a criterion; instead they are designed to operate on multiple levels and impact in a serious manner.


Can I purchase your application code to implement in my application?

Our service is customized and right now it is not possible to transfer our code.


How often is the app updated?

We are always looking to enhance services. The app is updated periodically as necessary.


I registered but I would now like to be removed from the community. How can I cancel my registration?

You may remove your account at any time you are not satisfied with the service.
In order to delete your account, you would need to go to your profile screen, and click on" edit my profile" button. Next, you would scroll down to delete my account.
You would verify the account you are deleting to complete the account deletion process.


What happens to my account after it is deleted?

Deletion of record is permanent. Records cannot be retrieved after deletion. Some records such as posting and chat will be retained for up to 30 days, but changed to an "unassigned" user in user forums or chat.
Personal directory information may be retained for up to 30 days for administrative or legal purposes.
After 30 days from deletion, the complete record will be expunged, unless prohibited by recognized authority.

USE

Do I have to pay to access and use the service?

The service is free to access and use.


Can visitors access the service or content?

Only community members can access service. You must be a registered user to access content and use service.


Can I use the service as often as I would like to use or is there a limited number of searches allowed?

There is no limitation regarding frequency of searches. You may search for everything and anything.


Can I delete my post?

You cannot edit a post, but you can delete and repost a post. To delete a post, click on the ellipses to the right of the post and press the "delete".


What happens if I flag a post?

Any user engaging in behavior believed to violate community rules will be warned and the post will be removed. If the activity continues, the user will be removed from the community.


Can I flag a user engaging in objectionable behavior?

Yes, any member may flag a user engaging in objectionable behavior. Flagged posts will be immediately removed from the community.

However, we suggest it best to block a user using objectionable language that may not violate community Terms of Use. Multiple unwarranted flagging can result in account suspension, followed by removal.


My post has been flagged but nothing was wrong with it. What can I do?

If you still believe your post should not have been flagged after careful review of our Terms of Use, you may contact us at support@esotai.com If you were errantly flagged, we will warned the flagger, if it persists the user will be suspended for possible removal from the community.


My Account has been suspended. Why did that happen? What can I do?

Your account may be suspended if we have detected that you have violated our Terms of Use or your posts have been flagged multiple times for violating our Terms of Use. Upon review, your account may be reinstated. If activity continues, your account may be permanently removed from the community.


Do you prohibit use of other messaging or communication service in conjunction with ESOTAI?

No we do not. In fact, we encourage it. ESOTAI is an introductory matching service. We do not facilitate extensive on-going communication or interaction and we do not retain records of such activity.


Can I change the skin color, fonts or the appearance of the app?

Currently, you are only able to change from light and dark modes. You are not able to change other appearance of the app. Look out for future updates that will be possible.

PROFILE

Is it necessary to select preferences in a specific order?

Preferences may be selected in any order but may only be saved in the order of highest to lowest preferences to accurately indicate priority. If preferences are not appropriately saved in the order of greatest priority to lowest priority, then the final match results will not be optimal.


Can I select more than 5 preferences in a category?

Unfortunately, you cannot select more than 5 preferences in a category. Each category is designed to assess optimal match. Therefore, you should only select preferences of greatest value to you in the appropriate order of  your personal priority.


Do I need to select preferences in each category?

No, you do not need to select a preference in each category. However, if you love or greatly value something in a category, you should select it as a preference even if you are not interested in using or accessing a match for that preference.


I have been trying to update and correct my profile because it is wrong. Why am I not able to update it?

Unfortunately, profiles can only be updated once every 48 hours. Therefore, you must wait 48 hours to update or change your saved profile. Additionally, you can only change a profile 3 times per month.


Is it necessary to answer all Personality Profile Questions?

We understand answering the questions can seem unnecessary. We tried to limit questions to capture the necessary information needed to capture an accurate personality profile for our system. It is important the best answer for you is selected to each question in order to determine optimal matches.

CONNECTIONS

What type of matches do you provide?

ESOTAI matches for business opportunities/relations, personal relations, services and trade and any other preference options indicated under "connections".


How do I search for a product or a business or connection?

There are two options for searching. 1) You may search using the search box field by typing in a keyword to find an optimal match for you. 2) You may also use the preference tabs to search based on specific preference.


The connections I am making are all too far from where I live. How can I find matches closer to where I am?

Connections are based on several factors. However, please make sure your geo-location in app is on to ensure optimal matches based on your location.


I keep seeing the same connection but I would like to see others. Is this supposed to happen?

Please contact us at support@esotai.com, if you believe the matches are inconsistent with your interest.


Can I control my match or restrict those to whom I am matched?

Unfortunately, our service is not restrictive. However, you will often be offered multiple matches. You may choose to review the profile of the identified match and you may choose not to pursue the suggested match.


What happens if there is no match found for me?

We utilize a unique algorithm designed to identify the optimal match for you. We seek deep and lasting matches that operate on multiple levels. Because of this, finding an optimal match is difficult. If we are not able to find an optimal match, but we are able to find a "Passing Match" or a "compatible Match", we will inform you. If there is no match available, we will also inform you.

POSTING

I posted to the Town Square or Market Place 2 months ago, but the post is no longer available. What happened?

ESOTAI does not retain records of posts. Posts are deleted after 30 days. Of course, you are welcome to repost all posts that have expired.


I saw a post in Town Square or Market Place but I cannot find it now. How can I find it?

All posts are listed chronologically, from most recent at the top going down to oldest. However, please note, posts are deleted after 30 days.


I am looking for a business/user in my community but there does not appear to be any on your service?

Occasionally, a user may request or seek a service, a business or user that is not available in the community. There will be no record available. You will receive a message informing you no match is available.


Can I promote myself or my business on your service?

You may promote yourself, your business and/or your interest on the service in the Town Square or your business in the Market Place. However, you may not use language, depict images or display videos that violate ESOTAI Terms of Use, such as abusive language, pornographic depiction or criminal acts.


How can I find my posting on the Town Square or Market Place?

You can locate your posting on the Town Square or Market Place by scrolling down to locate your post. There is no search feature in the Town Square or Market Place.


Can I submit multiple posts to the Town Square or Market Place?

You can submit an unlimited number of posts in the Town Square or Market Place. However, you cannot submit multiple repeat posts within a 30 day period. If you do, the additional posts will be removed and you will be reminded of the policy. If it continues, your account may be suspended or removed. 

MIX MATCH

What is Mix Match and what does it provide?

Mix Match allows you to analyze your compatibility to prospective partners - both personal and business. A match score is calculated by assessing various factors, such as shared interests, common habits and personality traits.


Can I assess anyone on Mix Match?

You can only assess registered users for match feedback.


Does the color of my Mix Match assessment indicate anything about the relationship?

Color is used to indicate the overall assessment of two members.


What is the difference between a connection and Mix Match Assessment?

Connections are more nuanced and assess the entire community for the appropriate match for your need. Mix Match produces an assessment of only one user at a time.


How should I treat a Mix Match assessment?

Mix Match assessment provides relationship guidance. We are confident in the assessment.


Should I avoid relationships assessed as risky relationships or questionable relationships?

Our Mix Match system does not provide relationship advice but the system is a guide post. You should explore all relationships that bring you enjoyment. Risky relationships and Questionable relationships may be appropriate for transactions but the calculation result indicates they are not likely to be deep, meaningful or beneficial over the long term.

PRIVACY

Are there restrictions on who can use the service?

Anyone over 16 years old may use our service. Any business may use our service.

Children under 16 years old may not use our service. Those who violate Terms of Use will be prohibited from using the service.


Is there an age requirement to use the service?

All users of the service must be 16 years or older.


Is it necessary to include my phone and personal information to access the service?

Yes, phone, date of birth and full legal name is necessary to use service. ESOTAI does not collect unnecessary info. All required information is used to authenticate and secure your account or ensure the proper functioning of the service. Information collected is not reported to third parties for any reason unless required by law.


Do you retain information I submit?

We value your privacy and do not retain any unnecessary information. We will not ask you to provide irrelevant information or information that will be used for marketing purposes.


Are the answers and data I provide to complete my profile kept private?

Your profile remains private and is visible only to ESOTAI. Feel free to openly and honestly express your preferences.


Who can see my profile?

Other members of the community may see your public information, which includes: 1) username, 2) Profile image, 3) profile description and 4) messages posted to Town Square or Market Place.
Other members never see personal information including date of birth, full legal name, location or preferences or personality profile.

DATA

Is there a limit to the characters I can enter in a post?

Yes, there is a limit of 500 characters to each post.


Is there a limit to the size of video/image I can post?

Yes, the limit is 25MB per post.


What do you do with the data I share?

We do not keep your data. We value your anonymity. We regularly purge unnecessary data. You must retain your own records if you feel you will need them.
